Spring Is Here: Melissa S/S 2013 Shoe Line

April 6th, 2013 by admin

Melissa is the latest and hottest shoe line that we are carrying at Holly. A world renowned brand, Melissa is all about providing cutting edge design collaborations, chic styling and on trend colour finishes without having to sacrifice comfort. In addition to an ultra comfortable fit, each Melissa shoes is infused with a fun bubble gum scent to ensure that you don’t carry a lingering rubber smell around that most “plastic” shoes may have.

As each melissa shoe is non-leather, they will not degrade in weather or water and are completely suitable for vegans and animal rights supporters.

Each Melissa shoe is made entirely of plastic and not the kind of plastic that is harming our world. There are many different kinds of plastic and many different technologies used to manufacture, use and recycle plastic. Melissa plastic shoes are made from mono-materials, which means they can be easily disassembled and recycled.

Melissa understands the “PPP” philosophy: People, Planet, Profit by focusing on a zero waste ethos and keeping in mind the life cycle of materials by recycling 99.9% of the factory water and waste and recycling overstock product for next seasons collection.

If that isn’t enough, Melissa is part of a non profit organizations that supports local homeless womens and childrens centers and also plays an active role in developing green urban areas.

So next time you stop by Holly you can shop guilt free when purchasing a pair of Melissa shoes because not only will you walk away with the PERFECT Spring Summer shoe, but also part of the proceeds go towards a good cause! How can you resist?!

Hot & New: Rebecca Taylor Tweed Moto Jacket

February 23rd, 2013 by admin

Rebecca Taylor is a newer line that we have coveted at Holly and every shipment we receive has us bubbling with excitement and drooling when we taste (try) each piece. This seasons collection is no different.

Our latest shipment from Rebecca Taylor had a creme de la creme piece that had us salivating at first glance! The Tweed Moto Jacket combines the classy elegant tweed material with a tough biker chic design; allowing you to edge it up or class it out! Whatever suits your sartorial needs, this jacket can do it.

Available in an on trend monochromatic black and grey, pairing this piece with your ensemble will be effortless.

Our style suggestion? Keep it casual and let the jacket speak for itself. Pair it with your favorite skinny jean, a drapey tee and your fave pair of killer booties.

So to sum things up, we love this piece and we think you’ll love it too!

Brand Spotlight: Pink Stitch S/S 2013

February 6th, 2013 by admin

” [When it comes to the fashion industry] ‘It’s either all, cheap, cheap, cheap or you have to pay $300, there is no middle range,’ Maryanne said. That is why she is on this safari. She’s found the missing link in the industry. Maryanne caters for ‘that yummy mummy, that young middle age group neglected in the market,’ to provide affordable yet sophisticated clothes for ‘a maximum of $145′ “

Hailing from the land down under (Australia), Pink Stitch is a relatively new brand with 5 years under its belt. Headed by Creative Director Maryanne Petsinis, you will find easy-to-wear pieces that are luxe in feel and quality but at a fraction of the price. An attention to detail and quality is what you will find in each piece on perusal.

We are excited to offer this new line at Holly Boutique.

Polka with Polka Dot Pants!

June 27th, 2012 by admin

Our fashion go to, WHOWHATWEAR, featured Polka Dot pants as their hot topic and we couldn’t be more excited!

“Over the years, polka dots have ingrained themselves into the fashion consciousness. Who can forget Lucille Ball’s polka-dot dresses on I Love Lucy, or the lyrics to Brian Hyland’s catchy 1960 hit “Itsy Bitsy Teeny Weeny Yellow Polka Dot Bikini”? The famous spotted pattern, equal parts classic and girly, can be intimidating to wear, but for our solid-wearing readers, we’ve found a loophole that we’re happy to share in today’s Get The Look. The retro motif takes on a modern tomboy twist when it’s covering a cropped, tailored trouser. Styled with sharp menswear pieces like jackets and oxford shirts, this trend really hits the spot!”

Lucky for you, we have just right pair at Holly! The Current/Elliott Pin dot Ankle Skinny ($215) is 2 parts on trend and 1 part PERFECT!

WhoWhatWear recommends pairing Polka Dot pants with menswear pieces. To help you achieve this look we recommend the following to flawlessly execute this trend:

1. Plastic Island Gemma Blazer, $175

2.  Fluxus Wales Tank, $88

3. Seychelles Blue Skies Heels, $145

Wardrobe Essential: Rebecca Taylor

June 14th, 2012 by admin

A blouse is an essential piece in every girls wardrobe and here at Holly we definitely make it a point to offer a variety of blouses to satisfy every occasion that you have going on. For the “warmer” season our essential must have from Holly is the Aristotle Blouse from Rebecca Taylor. Soft and romantic with Rebecca Taylor’s beautiful Aristotle floral print and prettily detailed,  with pintuck trims and tassle ties along the neckline using a light weight silk material, comfy luxe is what this blouse is about. We love a piece that can be worn a number of ways, here are 4 ways that we recommend:

  • When the season warms up, it’s time to show off those stems!  The Aristotle Blouse pairs elegantly with Joie’s Merci shorts and BC Shoes Blue Skies Heels to create a pretty outfit fit for a Summer Night Out!
  • Here at Holly we love love love Brunch! Besides the food, dressing for Brunch is always fun. Pair the Aristotle Blouse with the Maxi Dress allows for an on trend look without compromising comfort. Brunch Time here we come!
  • Every girl seems to have those days where you just want to be comfy and not look like you’re too dressed up. For those days, the Aristotle Blouse pairs very easily with a pair of boyfriend jeans! Obviously Current/Elliott’s are the way to go, and we recommend the The Roller Skinny with its skinny but relaxed fit in the Sundance wash, which is most appropriate for the season! Lazy Day Comforts just got easier.
  • A day with the girls is always about looking good! It’s especially nice when you execute an outfit flawlessly and receive the compliments you so rightly deserve! But you can’t look like you’re over dressed for the hang out, so we suggest pairing the Aristotle Blouse with our luxe Current/Elliott Leather Ankle Skinny’s. The leather skinny in Haystack, although pricey is a worthwhile investment with its amazing on trend wash and its perfect “like a glove” fit that compliment all your curves. Hanging With The Girls just got easier.

Brand Spotlight: Joie S/S 2012

May 9th, 2012 by admin

Based out of Southern California, Joie is a brand for the modern woman. “Casual, comfortable and luxurious” is the brand’s concept and boy, do they deliver. A mix of sophisticated elegance interspersed with a vintage luxe feel is what makes the brand fresh and timeless.

With a strong focus on creating quality garments, the main Joie line incorporates natural fabrics like silk, cotton and linen. Each piece is decadent in the texture and weight of the fabrics used. The sister line Soft Joie is a worthy counterpart, utilizing soft knits and drapes that is as comfy chic as Joie is sophisticatedly elegant.

What are you waiting for? Come into Holly Boutique and see for yourself!

What Should I Wear? Party Party Party!

December 21st, 2011 by admin

There is always so much stress and pressure when it comes to finding the right New Years Eve outfit!  So let me make it easier with my suggestions!

 1. Joie Skipper Sequin Dress ($415)

This is the essential piece to have s the party dress to have with its femine and fun sequins! The Skipper dress is perfect and sexy for any New Years Eve or Xmas Party.

 2. Les Petites Masculine Coat in Brique ($545)

To top off the dress and overall outfit, I recommend adding some fun color with this great statement piece for the Fall Winter seasons from Les Petites. The rich wool fabric keeps you warm and gives the fun party dress a hit of glamour.

 3. Rosegold Lane Heels (Sale, $132)

Sexy shoes are perfect for your night out, so I recommend the Rosegold Lane Heels. The on-trend style features an upper with sexy cut-outs and a peep-toe. With a concealed platform and a covered stiletto heel, you’ll have a noticeable lift without crossing the line.

4. House of Harlow Textured Ring ($38)

5. House of Harlow Horseshoe Bangle ($48)

Keep the jewelry minimal as you don’t want to take away from the fabulous dress. I suggest going with a Textured Ring and the Horseshoe Bangle. Simple, Easy and it won’t break budget!

6. Messy Tousled Hair

I recommend tousled flirty hair that is down which provides a sexy look to when you’re partying the night away!

On Trend at Holly: Rocker Fringe

December 17th, 2011 by admin

fffff

Who What Wear’s “How They Wear” feature was on Rocker Fringe and we couldn’t be happier to show off our Wildfox Festival “Backstage Pass” Fringe tee! Could this top be anymore on point?

When considering the counterculture uniform of the ’60s, there’s one specific element that immediately comes to mind: fringe! That’s right, this frayed embellishment played a major role in some of the most iconic musicians’ wardrobes, like Jimi Hendrix and Janis Joplin, whom both paired fringed jackets with bell bottoms and tie-dye. Now, thanks to designers like Isabel Marant and a handful of fashion’s finest, fringe is having a serious moment again. Adorning everything from outerwear (Chanel Iman and Ruby Aldridge) to accessories (Ashley Olsen and Kate Moss), fringe is the perfect way to inject your day-to-day looks with a little rock ‘n’ roll spirit. To help you create some of the coolest outfits this winter, we’ve rounded up a selection of stylephiles who have all nailed this look in today’s How They Wear story.“ (Full Article @ Who What Wear)

On Trend: Parkas

December 14th, 2011 by admin

Don’t say we didn’t warn you! WhoWhatWear’s “GO BUY NOW” feature was on the classic Parka! Luckily for you, we have you covered with three different Parka’s that meet every price point! A staple piece for everyone’s wardrobe.

So do as WhoWhatWear says and Go Buy Now!

“When heading out into blustering climates, we find it’s always best to be equipped with the most practical, versatile, and of course, stylish outerwear, hence our obsession du jour: the parka! Formerly categorized as merely military garb and casual winter attire, the parka has officially made its high-fashion return to the spotlight as the season’s must-have coat. From classic-yet-cool daytime styles to luxurious evening options, the heavy-duty parka is guaranteed to arm you against the winter chill, which is why we believe it’s a cold-weather essential you should definitely Go Buy Now!” (Full Article @ Who What Wear)

What Should I Wear? Family

December 12th, 2011 by admin

Since this is a family affair you want to be tasteful and respectful, especially if it is the boyfriends or husbands family dinner! You definitely don’t want to send the wrong message by walking in looking like the harlot! With that being said you don’t want to go unnoticed either, so an outfit that is classy, fashionable and on trend works best!

1. Charli Millie Dress in Dark Grey ($165)

The classic look and fit of the Millie dress is perfect and comfortable with its stretchy and soft fabric. The length is perfect for the occasion and hugs the body nicely without being inappropriate.

 2. Muubaa Bronson Sheepskin Cowl Neck Coat ($795)

To add a shield against the cold weather I recommend the Bronson Coat which provides amazing warmth and demands attention as it is right on trend with this seasons look and radiates luxury with its impeccably smooth and soft leather and shearling lining.

3. House of Harlow Gold Coin Necklace ($198)

4. House of Harlow Horseshoe Bangle ($48)

To break up the dress and add some depth to the dress, I suggest going for the Gold Coin Necklace and the Horseshoe Cuff for a little luck and elegance.

 5. House of Harlow Norah Snake Skin Pump ($258)

Since the dress is a solid colour, shoes are the perfect option to incorporate a nice print or pattern to your outfit. So take advantage and spice it up with the Norah Snake Skin Pumps.

 6.  Swept Low Bun

I have chosen a swept low bun as it provides an elegant look that is soft and romantic

What Should I Wear? Fun Alternative To A Dress

December 7th, 2011 by admin

During the holiday season everyone feels they must be decked out for the parties however, for some holiday occasions you can still be “dressed up” without actually having to wear a dress! It’s all in pairing the right colors, fits and accessories.

1. Joie Lenora Top ($225)

The rich vibrant red of the Joie Lenora top is amazing on any skin color and perfect for the holiday season. The flowy fit is not only super comfortable and sexy but great for those big holiday dinners!

2. 7 For All Man kind Kaylie Bootcut ($225)

Dark indigo denim is always a go to option as it gives a more “dressier” feel. The fitted cut and the slight flare at the bottom of the Kaylie Bootcut flatters the lower body perfectly and is big for the seasons denim trends.

 3. Muubaa Aviatress Jacket ($600)

I recommend adding the beautifully cool Aviatress Jacket ($600) to keep you warm when you’re outside in the cold weather. The chocolate brown leather jacket has multiple variations, which allows you to wear it a multitude of ways (as is, vest, fur collar attached or without). The Aviatress jacket is a guaranteed wardrobe piece that can carry you through all seasons.

4.  Noe Suede Pump in Red

I recommend adding the classic Red suede pumps by Noe to keep in the red fever to compliment the top.

5.  House of Harlow Carnelian Dome Ring ($69)

6.  C.Pak & Co. Bracelets ($23)

To dress up the outfit, accessorize with the Carnelian Dome Ring and stack your wrist(s) with the affordably chic C.Pak & Co. Bracelets

7. Loose Wavey Hair

Keep it simple and classic. Loose Waves let down are the way to go!

What Should I Wear? Work Function

November 28th, 2011 by admin

I would suggest something that is sophisticated and tasteful since you are still in a work/business environment.  However, you should spice it up a little for the party to show your co-workers that you have a fun fashionable side!

1.  Les Petites Twist Dress in Olive ($375)

The rich Olive colour of the Twist Dress is perfect for the season and the dress is perfect for a work function as it is not too revealing and the draping of the fabrics with the twist detail flatters the body flawlessly.

2. Plastic Island Sydney Biker Jacket in Beige ($225)

To add a bit of edge to your sophisticated and chic outfit, I recommend the Sydney biker Jacket. The cropped length and the neutral Beige tone works well to compliment the Olive green without covering any of the flattering twist details from the dress.

3. , 4. House of Harlow Metal Fringe Earrings in Gold ($135) / Sunburst Cocktail Ring in Khaki ($58)

Since the dress is one colour I would recommend including some statement pieces of jewelry to heighten the look. House of Harlow’s Gold Fringe Earrings and Sunburst Ring compliment the dress and are perfect color combinations.

5. Noe Pump in Beige ($125)

A beige pump is a nice addition to the overall outfit and your existing wardrobe as they are not too high and really comfortable for dancing and mingling. The earthy Beige tone doesn’t take away from the rest of the look and match the Sydney Biker jacket!

6. Pulled Back Hairstyle

To show off the earrings and the front detailing of the dress a pulled back hairstyle is the perfect choice!

What Should I Wear? Romantic Date

November 22nd, 2011 by admin

Whether it’s the first date or the millionth date, you should always want to dress to impress! Here’s what I recommend to make him fall head over heels again!

 1.      Mason Gathered Dress with Leather Sleeves ($395)

Make him go “oh la la” with this sexy and flattering Gathered Dress that hides the bumps and gives you that chic appeal with the leather sleeves.

 2.      Les Petites Hivernal Belted Coat ($510)

The Hivernal Coat is spot on with the latest trends in fashion. The rich Bordeaux color is big for the Fall Winter color scheme and the belted styling is prevalent in this season outerwear trends. The overall look is classic, elegant and guaranteed to keep you warm for that romantic walk out.

 3.      House of Harlow Feather Lock Ring ($88)

Since the dress stands out you don’t need too many accessories, so the fun Feather Locket Ring is the perfect accessory!

 4.      Rosegold Lane Heels (Sale, $132)

The black coordinates well with the leather in your dress and the cutout peep toe heel gives the overall outfit depth and edge. It’s a match!

 5.      Tousled and Flirty Hair

I suggest a hairstyle that is left down, tousled and wavy!  The look is very flirty and sexy! Just what your date wants ;)

Outerwear at Holly

November 7th, 2011 by admin

Fall is coming to an end and Winter is quickly approaching as the holiday season slowly takes over the city. As always with every Winter, we can expect part wet and part dry weather with temperature levels that drop slightly below zero; but knowing Vancouver’s unpredictable reputation for weather, it could go the other way!

It’s time to put away your lightweight jackets and time to armor yourself with outerwear that is guaranteed to keep the chilly weather out and the warm and fuzzy in! This season Holly is providing a wide array of artillery to brave against this seasons cold temperatures. From Leather to Wool to Parka’s, Holly has got you covered and hoping that the cold weather sticks around.

In Vancouver, it is mandatory to own a quality outerwear piece just like it is crucial for you to have an umbrella! A jacket that is wearable throughout the season and appropriate for all occasions is something worth investing in. To help you out, we’ve rounded up our favorite options, all of which are certain to enliven your cold-weather wardrobe!

1.Mason: Leather Trim Blanket Coat ($560)

The Mason Blanket coat is perfection for those dry but Sunny Winter days where going for a nice stroll out to the market or an easy Sunday Brunch requires something comfortable but well put together. The oversized cardigan sweater features a shawl collar and an open placket with leather panel at back that is just the perfect execution that turns a basic piece into a luxe must have. Ribbed edges and an asymmetrical hem finish off the piece for that added edge.

2. Muubaa: Bronson Cowl Neck Jacket ($795)

This season is it’s all about wrapping yourself in warm luxury. The Muubaa Bronson Jacket is a 100% real sheepskin jacket with a beautifully draped soft cowl neck and full length sleeves with jersey rib panel on the back of the sleeve for that hint of moto chic. With raw edges and a raw cut hem this jacket has the guaranteed “bam” that every outfit needs!

3. Muubaa: Charme Aviatress Jacket ($600)

For the days when you’re feeling a little Joan Jett, we recommend this killer Aviator Style leather jacket made of 100% lambs leather. The Charme Aviatress jacket can be worn a multitude of ways with its detachable beige sheepskin collar and detachable arms which can be turned in to a vest. The jacket features asymmetric zip front, zipped jetted pockets, side zip details and cuff zips. If you’re still hunting for an essential leather jacket, then this is it! With removable sleeves and sheepskin collar, you get two styles of jacket plus two styles of vest in one!

4. Les Petites Collection: Hivernal Coat w. Buckle ($510)

For elegance and class, Les Petites has what you need. Made in France, the Hivernal Coat focuses on classic styling with its shawl collar and belted waist. Foregoing embellishments, the Hivernal Coat radiates that certain je ne sais quoi that so many of the French have.

5. Les Petites Collection: Masculine Single Button Coat ($545)

Although the weather maybe darkening and the sky monochromatic, that should not be reflective of your color choices. Forego your standard fail safe picks of navy, charcoal and noir and try a new color with a kick! We suggest Les Petites Masculine Single Button Coat in Brique to inject some serious style into your autumnal and winter outfits.

6. Patterson J. Kincaid: Lauren Long Fur Trim Parka ($415)

You can never go wrong with a parka. The only problem? It’s hard to keep warm in them if it isn’t lined! Well Patterson J. Kincaid has you covered. The Lauren cotton-twill parka features a detachable sherpa lined jersey vest to ensure you stay warm. The parka also features a hidden 7-snap and 2-way zip closure at the front. 100% Fox fur trim on the zip-off hood for that added luxe and a drawstring waist for a better fit.

7. Patterson J. Kincaid: Angela Short Fur Trim Parka ($325)

The little sister version to the Lauren Parka with all the same embellishments and detailing. It’s that easy!

Spring Is Here!

April 23rd, 2011 by admin

SPRING IS HERE!

With Spring out in full force it is time to switch from the chunky sweaters, heavy coats and dark tones to a more lighter affair. However, with unpredictable Vancouver weather it can go from SUNNY and WARM one moment to CLOUDY and COLD the next. Keeping this in mind, it is a must that your outfit keep you warm but at the same time allow your body to breathe.

With this in mind, Holly has put together three in style, on trend outfits from our new shipments that are guaranteed to make you wish Spring (or Summer) could be all year round!

1. Nautical Casual:

Nautical is always a hit when the weather warms up. However, the last thing you need is to end up looking like a little sailor going to sea. One definitely needs to keep it in moderation. We decided to pair a Nautical Striped Dolman Sleeve Hoodie (Michael Stars, $138) with a rough Thunderbird Pendant (LowLuv x Erin Wasson, $72) and completed the Spring look with a hyper bleached grey Skinny jean (7FAM, $235).

2. Blue Renegade:

We at Holly appreciate a good blue, whether it be denim or dress, and this Spring we have two good blue tones that are perfect to pump out in Spring. Wearing a simple dress can be a bit too dressy for a casual hang out with the friends, but that doesn’t mean you can’t wear a fun dress when you have plans! Renegade against that notion! Our solution? We paired this stunning blue 100% Silk Halter Dress w. Caged Hem (Mike Gonzalez, $355), with a badass Bleached Blue Denim Jacket w. Leather Collar Trim (Twenty8Twelve, $268) to keep it real.

3. Egyptian Goddess:

Sometimes it can be difficult to find the right thing to wear that is easy and effortless, something that you can just slip on and get on with it, or so you thought…A Maxi dress is a key piece to have on hand that is unfussy and easy to wear for any Spring occasion. Our pick is this airy, light-weight and beautiful tie dye Maxi that combines citrus, white and grey (Soft Joie, $160). The Maxi’s floor-grazing silhouette means no flashing the public when you sit down too, score!  To kick this sexy piece up a notch and have you looking like a sun goddess, we styled this dress with a beautiful Gold plated feather necklace (House of Harlow, $189), Tribal Cuff (House of Harlow, $215) and some Boho Platform Heels (House of Harlow, $250).

Who What Wear Features Equipment’s Signature Blouse

December 1st, 2010 by admin

Who What Wear Daily has featured one of the newest and hottest pieces hitting stores, Equipment’s Signature Blouse, for their “Working Girl: Gift Guide” segment. Check out what WWWD has to say about the Signature Blouse:

“A silk button-down is nine-to-five staple, and Equipment’s iterations are some of our absolute favorites. While we’d never stop you from picking one up in every color, we’d select this rich olive hue for the WG because it’s a great, cutting-edge neutral that lends itself to a myriad of looks. She can wear it to break up a tan, black, or navy suit, and then pair it with skinny jeans and heels when casual Friday finally rolls around.”

A little about the brand:

Dating back to 1975, Equipment is all about taking menswear and revamping it with feminine appeal; resulting in the brand being known for their refined tailoring and classic pieces for woman. All about perfecting “the shirt”, the label was re-launched in 2010 with an emphasis on sophisticated French minimalism and laid-back California boho style.

Androgynous silhouettes and subtle allure are what Equipment pieces are all about.  Women who are strong, chic, adventurous, sexy, and above all, classic will appreciate the Equipment pieces we have in store.

Boulee, pleased to meet you :)

July 3rd, 2010 by admin

From Kourtney Kardashian to Ashley Tisdale and Terri Hatcher, Boulee is a new fashion line making its mark among the Hollywood fashion scene. Based out of L.A., Designer Debbie Morad’s raison d’etre for Boulee was from the lack of variety in her wardrobe “Boulee caters to the many faces of a woman’s style, mood, and personality and I keep this in mind as I design each collection” says Morad. Most notable about a Boulee piece is that its flattering on all body types!

Holly has just received three pieces from the Summer 2010 line:

Wedding Season: Dress Options

June 2nd, 2010 by admin

Summer Time = Wedding Time. With that in mind it is essential you have the perfect dress to attend all your romantic wedding functions. Ladies, this cannot be taken lightly. Choosing the right dress can make or break your fabulous night, so choose wisely.

Luckily for you, Holly has chosen her top 6 dresses for this very serious issue. Starting from top left:

1. Jay Godfrey Fairchild Two Tier Chiffeon Dress w. Lace ($298) – Top Left

Neon is BIG for the summer, so what better way then to make a bold statement with a dress that is perfect for hiding flaws while still giving you the allure of a sexy silhouette.

2. Jay Godfrey Paradis One Shoulder Dress w. Kimono ($379) – Top Middle

Yellow is another great colour for the Spring/Summer season. This is another dress that is perfect for masking any flaws. Even though the cut is simple, the colour helps make this a bold statement that is guaranteed to have all eyes on you.

3. Black Halo Sidney Mini ($419) – Top Right

If the brights are not your thing then this Black Halo dress is the perfect piece. The cut is versatile with its subtle and conservative front and sexy and skinful low back.

4. La Rok Spring Ruffle Dress ($325) – Bottom Left

Prints are another huge trend for the season, and this dress offers just that. The look of this dress screams feminine and girly and is perfect for the wedding and yet easily transitionable to a party dress

5. Black Halo Marilyn Sheath ($425) – Bottom Center

A form fitting sexy one shoulder thats bound to make more of classic elegance. Perfect for all sorts of occassions

6. La Rok The “It” Dress ($325) – Bottom Right

Plain and sample: Young, Flirty and Fun with its cotton bodice and silk bottom.

….and the great thing about it all? These dresses are no one time deal, for sure you will be able to wear these dresses again for any other great occasions!

Pleasure Doing Business? Definitely was, with the Band Skirt!

May 28th, 2010 by admin

One of my favorite must have’s for the summer is Pleasure Doing Business’ Band Skirt! This cute, sexy and edgy skirt is the “IT” skirt that all celebs are sporting like Mary Kate and Ashley Olsen, Ashley Tisdale, Rihanna, Sienna Miller, Heidi Klum … and the list goes on.

Favorite way to rock it? Casually, with a cute sexy Chaser tee tucked in and killer Rosegold or Charlotte Ronson heels! All of which are available at Holly!

The Band skirts come in a variety of colors in stripes or solids and different lengths as well.  This skirt is so cute, I can’t emphasize it enough!

Sarah Jessica Parker in Current/Elliott The Captain Trousers

May 27th, 2010 by admin

In lieu of Sex and The City 2,  Sarah Jessica Parker was seen sporting Current/Ellliott’s Captain Trouser in Army while shopping in New York City. These trousers were also featured in the April issue of Elle, highlighting the current Urban Military look that is in style right now.

With Spring/Summer in full swing it is time to switch it up and go with a non-denim option. These trousers are snug around the hip and waist, and tailored in a straight leg, to give you the option of cuffing them or leaving them down.

Style them like SJP and pair them with a cute tee, a pair of heels and you’re good to go. Fashion doesn’t have to be complicated. So have fun!

Rebecca Minkoff Bag’s

May 26th, 2010 by admin

Rebecca Minkoff’s Linear Stud Rocker Bag in Black, Blue and Cream is the perfect accessory to give your outfit that extra umph and edge. The size (Measures approx 9.5″W x 7″H x 0.5″D) and the long detachable shoulder strap makes it a versatile piece (shoulder bag or clutch) that is perfect for a girls night out or a casual shopping day at Holly!

Sexy Casual

May 8th, 2010 by admin

Sexy Casual in all the right way!

This is the Outfit of The Week (OOTW)!  Every week we will post a new outfit or item (Post of the Week, POTW) and suggestions on how to sport this look.  As we are in the Spring season, the weather still has a tendency to be a bit chilly, so denim is still a good option.  The light destroyed denim by Current Elliot ($228) is great for this weather paired with our M. Rena long sleeved off the shoulder top ($60).

This outfit is a great option for a first date, its still sexy and fun without being over the top.  This also works for a ladies brunch at So.Cial and a shopping day in Gastown!
