SPRING IS HERE!

With Spring out in full force it is time to switch from the chunky sweaters, heavy coats and dark tones to a more lighter affair. However, with unpredictable Vancouver weather it can go from SUNNY and WARM one moment to CLOUDY and COLD the next. Keeping this in mind, it is a must that your outfit keep you warm but at the same time allow your body to breathe.

With this in mind, Holly has put together three in style, on trend outfits from our new shipments that are guaranteed to make you wish Spring (or Summer) could be all year round!

1. Nautical Casual:

Nautical is always a hit when the weather warms up. However, the last thing you need is to end up looking like a little sailor going to sea. One definitely needs to keep it in moderation. We decided to pair a Nautical Striped Dolman Sleeve Hoodie (Michael Stars, $138) with a rough Thunderbird Pendant (LowLuv x Erin Wasson, $72) and completed the Spring look with a hyper bleached grey Skinny jean (7FAM, $235).

2. Blue Renegade:

We at Holly appreciate a good blue, whether it be denim or dress, and this Spring we have two good blue tones that are perfect to pump out in Spring. Wearing a simple dress can be a bit too dressy for a casual hang out with the friends, but that doesn’t mean you can’t wear a fun dress when you have plans! Renegade against that notion! Our solution? We paired this stunning blue 100% Silk Halter Dress w. Caged Hem (Mike Gonzalez, $355), with a badass Bleached Blue Denim Jacket w. Leather Collar Trim (Twenty8Twelve, $268) to keep it real.

3. Egyptian Goddess:

Sometimes it can be difficult to find the right thing to wear that is easy and effortless, something that you can just slip on and get on with it, or so you thought…A Maxi dress is a key piece to have on hand that is unfussy and easy to wear for any Spring occasion. Our pick is this airy, light-weight and beautiful tie dye Maxi that combines citrus, white and grey (Soft Joie, $160). The Maxi’s floor-grazing silhouette means no flashing the public when you sit down too, score!  To kick this sexy piece up a notch and have you looking like a sun goddess, we styled this dress with a beautiful Gold plated feather necklace (House of Harlow, $189), Tribal Cuff (House of Harlow, $215) and some Boho Platform Heels (House of Harlow, $250).
